Kalyan holds a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from JNTU School of Planning and Architecture, Hyderabad, and a Master of Architecture (M.Arch) in Construction Management from CSIIT, Hyderabad. He is also a member of the Council of Architecture (COA) and the Indian Institute of Architects (AIIA).
